Tobacco
Tea/Coffee
Food Coloring

Internal Injury Stains
Procedure Steps
Pre-Operative Photographs: Take photographs for records and comparison later.
Cheek Retractor: Place a soft, comfortable cheek retractor in the patient’s mouth to keep the cheeks away from the teeth.
Gingival Barrier Application: Use a black syringe to apply a gingival barrier to protect the gums starting from the left premolar to the right premolar on both arches.
Curing the Gingival Barrier: Cure the barrier using a light cure unit or bleaching unit for 2 minutes to ensure it sets properly.
Check Barrier: Verify the stability of the gingival barrier with a probe.
Mixing Bleaching Solution: Create a gel solution by mixing the powdered and liquid components from the bleaching kit in the recommended ratio.
Application of Solution: Use an applicator brush to apply the solution from left premolar to right premolar on both arches.
Activation of Gel: Activate the peroxide content by using a light cure unit for 10 minutes to enhance the effectiveness of the bleaching gel.
Repeat Activation: Optionally, repeat the activation process from step 8 to achieve the desired whitening results without rinsing between cycles.
Cleanup: Clean the teeth using cotton to remove excess gel.
Remove Gingival Barrier: Carefully remove the gingival barrier and rinse the mouth with water.
Post-Operative Photographs: Take photos post-procedure and show them to the patient for comparison.
This structured approach ensures optimal results while maintaining patient safety and comfort during the whitening process.
